The Ranger is available free in distribution boxes on campus each Friday during the school year, and the newspapers remain available until Thursday of the following week. The San Antonio College reading audience includes more than 21,000 students, staff and faculty.

The newspaper has won 10 Pacemaker awards and three Pacemaker finalist awards from Associated Collegiate Press since 1976.
