Photography I - COMM 1318: A beginning course for a hobbyist or a career-bound student. Four hours per week. Involves camera techniques to produce good composition, lighting, exposure and esthetics. Covers scenic, portraiture, sports, existing light, equipment purchasing tips and more. Assignments are developed and printed in black and white.

Photography II - COMM 1319: Advanced black and white emphasizing camera and darkroom techniques that allow the student to make a visual statement with impact. Prerequisite: COMM 1318 or equivalent.
