Brian Parrish has been brewing a weekly sonic stew since starting The Casbah in the Summer of '97. He mixes modern rock with other eclectic forms of music... from psychedelic and garage rock to classic and obscure rhythm & blues. Add to the mix, some way-out jazz and a healthy dose of surf-instro... and you have the best radio show on the dial!
While serving up good grooves every Saturday night, Brian also throws in live interviews by well-known or emerging local bands and national touring acts, as well specialty shows spotlighting musical genres and legendary musicians. The end result is a program that always sounds fresh and continues to grow. Brian also works part-time as a technical director at San Antonio's Newstalk 55 KTSA.
