Electronic books are available through NetLibrary and provided by TexShare. After entering NetLibrary, current SAC students, faculty, and staff can "View" an eBook. While you are "viewing" a copy of an eBook, no one else can access the eBook, but if an eBook is inactive for 15 minutes it will become available again for use. You can also set up a free, confidential account by clicking on the "Create a Free Account" link on NetLibrary's opening web page. After you set up the account, you can add a book to your virtual bookshelf, make notes, highlight text, place bookmarks and login to our online collection of eBooks directly at http://www.netlibrary.com.
Some eBooks may require Adobe Acrobat reader (free download available) or DjVu plug-in (free download available for PC & Mac or Linux.)

Get a TexShare card or work with your local college or public libraries to see if you can borrow books from them. Most colleges have a "friends of the library" program and public libraries usually provide Interlibrary loan services along with their regular patron services. It never hurts to ask!
