• The Nine Planets A multimedia guide to our solar system. Created before the International Astronomical Union voted to demote the planet Pluto and updated after the IAU's decision.

• Sky-Map.org Interactive, detailed, online sky map of objects outside of our solar system. Search for a star, constellation, Meisner object, etc. and a sky map is generated from the database. This web site also inlcudes high-resolution optical images of the sky from the ongoing Sloan Digital Sky Survey. However, the SDSS is far from complete so your object may not be available. • Sloan Digital Sky Survey An ongoing project to create detailed, high resolution optial images of more than a quarter of the sky and a detailed 3-dimensional map of about a million galaxies and quasars. Based at a telescope on Apache Point, NM and funded by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, and a consortium of 25 international institutions and government agencies, including NASA.
