AUDIOVISUAL UNIT POLICIES

A current Alamo Community College District ID is required by all patrons in order to use or check out equipment.

Inclement Weather

During inclement weather, in order to protect the audiovisual equipment and the responsibility for student employee assistant’s safety, the audiovisual personnel will decide if weather conditions warrant not taking audiovisual equipment out of the Moody Learning Center.

Multimedia Equipment

  • All multimedia equipment is a user pick-up and user return. Multimedia equipment include: laptops, cameras, presentation multimedia carts and LCD projectors.
  • For orientation on multimedia equipment, call 486-0586 to make an appointment.
  • Arrangements for weekend use of multimedia equipment need to be made before 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Responsibility and security arrangements will be the responsibility of the user until equipment is returned on the next working day.

Equipment Delivery and Pick-up Service

  • Faculty and staff may elect to have the Audiovisual Center personnel deliver and retrieve requested equipment, except Multimedia Equipment.
  • This service is limited to on-campus sites and the availability of staff and student employee assistants. Including non-classroom functions where a technician is requested to be on site.
  • At least 24 hour advance notice is recommended when placing an order.
  • Request for services, which are received less than 24 hours will be deliver after other requests have been delivered.
  • All deliveries made outside of the Moody Learning Center will need to be retrieved by 9:00 p.m.
  • All deliveries inside the Moody Learning Center will need to be retrieved by 9:30 p.m.
  • Equipment needed past the pick-up time or overnight arrangements should be made by user to secure equipment. Classrooms are not secure areas.
  • Arrangements for weekend use of audiovisual equipment need to be made before 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Responsibility and security arrangements will be the responsibility of the user until equipment is returned on the next working day
  • The user or department will be liable in the event of theft, loss or damage of any equipment. Clink to down load Loan Agreement.

Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: Closed
