Audiovisual Unit

AV EQUIPMENT REPAIR

Audiovisual (AV) Equipment Repair Services offers an on-campus repair facility for instructional media equipment. Audiovisual equipment with the proper ACCD or SAC identification tag is eligible for maintenance repairs.

AV Equipment Repair Services will make every attempt to repair equipment in a timely manner. However, AV Equipment Repair Services cannot be held responsible for delays caused by difficulty in obtaining parts. Items may be dropped off at the AV Media Repair facility in MLC 424 or call 733-2668 to arrange pick up service. Please mark equipment with:

Description of problem / symptoms

Equipment Under Warranty
Repair work performed by an AV Repair technician will void the equipment warranty. It is the obligation of the department, not Media Services, to determine whether an item is still under warranty. The vendor or authorized manufacturer service provider as specified by the warranty should repair equipment under warranty.

Replacement Policy
AV Equipment Repair Services will provide replacement LCD projector lamps at no cost to department.
