Faculty Information
Dr. Mark Alexander teaches Private Piano, Class Piano, and Functional Keyboard. Mark Alexander is a distinguished pianist whose performances have been recognized as technically brilliant, musically sophisticated, and full of expressive beauty. As a collaborative artist, he has performed with baritone William Warfield and flutist Bradley Garner. He was heard with baritone Timothy Jones on NPR's Performance Today on a historic first broadcast from the Alamo. Mark is currently a member of the adjunct piano faculty at San Antonio College and Our Lady of the Lake University. He has also served on the faculties of Southwestern University, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and the University of Texas at San Antonio. He holds a Masters of Music and a Doctoral degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelors of Music degree from the University of Michigan. Mark is a native of Caledonia, Michigan.
