Faculty Information

Cynthia Sanchez graduated from DePauw University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Business. She also has earned the Master of Music Education degree at Northern Michigan University and a Master of Music degree at Southern Methodist University in
Choral Conducting from Lloyd Pfautsch.

Currently, she is the Director of the Concert Choir and Chamber Choir at San Antonio College. In addition, she teaches Aural Skills, Private Voice, and Functional Keyboard.

She performs as a vocalist, clinician, and conductor for ensembles in the community, and has been soloist on many occasions with the San Antonio Symphony and the Mid-Texas Symphony, which includes a Carnegie Hall performance as alto soloist in Mozart's Requiem.
