Department Co-Chairperson Mary Lou Russell began
teaching at SAC in 1971. She holds a Masters in
Piano Performance from UTSA and a Bachelors in
Piano Pedagogy from the University of The Incarnate Word.
She teaches Private Piano, Class Piano, Functional Keyboard, and
Music Appreciation at SAC. Ms.Russell is the official piano accompanist for the SAC Music Department. She is currently the organist /pianist at
Alamo Heights United Methodist Church and is a member
of the American Guild of Organists.
