Field Trips
The San Antonio Museum of Fine Arts contains a very fine collection of art from many of the periods we are studying. The McNay Art Museum is another source for this material. I encourage you to visit either museum to see the collection. The very best pictures available never do justice to seeing the actual work. If you do visit the museum I will apply extra credit to exam, but you must submit a written summary of what you viewed/learned from the experience. |
