Each semester the Department of Music and Humanities awards service scholarships to many deserving students. Through an interview and an audition with one of our ensemble directors, the students who receive the awards demonstrate the ability to be a musical leader vocally or instrumentally in the organization. Below are the ensembles and their directors. CLASS # SCHOLARSHIP DIRECTOR MUEN 1121 Concert Band W. Peter Kline MUEN 1141 Concert Choir Cynthia Barbier MUEN1151 Chamber Singers Cynthia Barbier REQUIREMENTS: 1. Audition by appointment with director of ensemble. 2. Maintain a minimum G.P.A. of 2.0 or higher. 3. Enrolled in a minimum of 6 hours. Preference given to full-time students. 4. Awards are NOT limited to music majors. 5. Scholarships are renewable based upon academic and musical performance. 6. Award may be increased for students participating in more than one ensemble.
