Performance Workshops and Labs

-- All take place Fridays at noon. --

Attention Private Lesson Students:

Do not register for non-music classes that will conflict!

Attending all workshops is required of students taking private lessons (10% of lesson grade).

Performing in workshops (at least once) is required of students who are taking "major" level lessons.

Labs provide less intimidating performing opportunities for students. They are designed for those in preparatory-level lessons who need performing experience, and for college-level students who need performing experience prior to performing in the workshops. To perform in a workshop, consult with your applied music teacher, who will submit information one week before the performance date (your name, instrument, teacher, title of piece, and composer).

* = Students in 30-minute lessons are exempt.

*Performing in the labs (once) is required of
students who are taking "Preparatory" level lessons.
Labs are available to all students as an optional performance opportunity.
Students wishing to perform in a lab should get their applied teacher's
pemission at least one week prior to the performance date.
