Humanities 1315 is an interdisciplinary and multicultural study of the visual arts, music and literature in modern culture. The students is introduced to the philosophical, aesthetic, social and technical revolutions of the recent past which shape our contemporary world.
Global cultural expressions of Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia since the eighteenth century in art, music, literature, drama, and the media are analyzed in their historical context. San Antonio is a great example of the many art styles discussed in the class - we will visit many local sites (virtually, of course)
