Video courses are college credit courses that students view on television, by purchased videotape, DVD, and broadcasts to watch at a time that is convenient to them.
Video Courses have the same academic quality,
college credit, and transferability as on-campus
classes. Also, Video Courses cost the same as on-campus courses. Video
Courses have no enrollment limit! Students are required to attend an orientation session, watch assigned video lessons once
a week, follow a study guide, study textbook assignments, and come on campus for reviews and exams. Lessons are broadcast Time
Warner cable channel 98 and Grande cable channel 21.

Orientations
It is a state requirement for students to attend one orientation session for each
video course in which they enroll, or they will be dropped
from the courses. Thus, every student needs to select one orientation time from the choices provided. Most sessions are
scheduled for 1 hour. Students meet the instructor, obtain a course syllabus, and have an opportunity to ask questions about course
requirements, reviews, exams, etc.

Broadcasts
and Videos
Students are required to follow the
broadcast viewing schedule. Students may view the programs
- On campus in the Audiovisual Office,
Moody Learning Center, Room 419. Call (210)
733-2500 for hours.
- Purchase VHS or DVD videos at the
SAC Bookstore
for $20.
- Video Course programs may be seen
on television thru Time
