(San Antonio, TX, September 1, 2006) – Latino students majoring in Music Business or Music with demonstrated songwriting skills are encouraged to apply for The ASCAP Foundation Rudy Perez Songwriting Scholarship, good for up to $2,000 at San Antonio College.

By establishing the scholarship program at The ASCAP Foundation, Perez is giving back to the music community by supporting aspiring Latino songwriters.
