Earth Day Celebration at San Antonio College Wednesday, April 19, 2006
WHAT:
Earth Day Celebration at San Antonio College - free and open to the public with exhibits and demonstrations to generate awareness about how we can each take steps to ensure that future generations will be able to also enjoy the air, water and landscapes that enrich us.
The event is organized by the Fine Arts and Cultural Events Series committee at SAC, which brought author and environmentalist Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to speak to a full house in March.
He said, "We are the best-entertained and least-informed people on the earth."
With the Earth Day Celebration, the committee is heeding his call for action.
