San Antonio College and the San Antonio Women's Chamber of Commerce are co-hosting Leadership Loop 2006, a professional development training series in May for women and men designed to focus on the skills required for business success. Merrill Lynch is sponsoring this series. The deadline for applications is April 26.
"Respected business owners and distinguished community leaders will teach in-depth sessions that will provide insight, marketable skills and continuing education units," said Joanna Grogan, Director of the San Antonio College Center for Professional Development, Continuing Education Division.
The sessions, with light supper provided, will meet from 6 - 9 p.m. on May 1, 8, 15 and 22. A welcome on the first evening will be held at the McAllister Auditorium (San Pedro and Courtland), followed by sessions in McCreless Hall. The four sessions will include the following topics, in order: Cornerstones of Leadership, Communication and Marketing, Business Success in a Competitive Market, and Commencement.
Registration is $250 for an individual, $200 (a 20% discount) for San Antonio Women's Chamber of Commerce members, and $750 for four registrants ("bring three, come free"). Scholarships are available to qualified persons.
