SAC Offers Information Sessions
on a Becoming Texas Certified Public School Teacher

Information sessions are being offered about becoming a Texas Certified Public School Teacher through the teacher certification program at San Antonio College's Center for Educator Preparation, in the Continuing Education Training Network.

The sessions will be held at 3:30 p.m., except as noted, in the Longwith Radio, Television, and Film (LRTF) Building (corner of Main and Courtland), Room 101, on the following dates: on April 19, May 9, May 18 (at 5:30 p.m.), May 24, and May 31.

"The state of Texas is facing a teacher shortage," said Mona Aldana-Ramirez, Program Coordinator.  She added, "The San Antonio College Center for Educator Preparation is seeking dynamic individuals eager to fill the need by becoming effective classroom teachers."

A Bachelor's degree is necessary to begin the fast-track to teacher certification in Math, Science and Elementary Generalist.
