The San Antonio College Administrative Computer Technology Department will offer for the first time MS Office 2007 in the Open Entry/Open Exit Lab for the Summer II Term. Students may register through July 11, and classes will begin July 12.
Classes include MS Office 2007, requiring attendance three hours per week (for three hours credit) July 12 - November 2, and MS PowerPoint 2007, requiring attendance two hours per week (for two hours credit) July 12 - September 7.
The classes are available in the Open Entry/Open Exit Lab (Nail Technical Center, Room 207), a self-paced setting where students can attend anytime from 8 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, or 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. on Fridays. An instructor is on duty at all times to help students if needed.
"Open Entry/Open Exit courses are traditional courses taught in a non-traditional setting," said Connianne Pugh, Chairperson of Administrative Computer Technology. She added, "Although there are no structured lectures, a faculty member is always available when the lab is open."
