San Antonio College is hosting a Capital Improvements Projects (CIP) Expo on Wednesday, August 15 at 5:30 in the Visual Arts & Technology Center (corner of Dewey and Lewis streets), in Room 120.  This event is free and open to the community, and light refreshments will be available. 

President Robert E. Zeigler will make a presentation and answer questions about the status of construction that is underway at the college, funded by a bond issue passed by the voters.  Construction projects include a Parking Garage (scheduled for completion in January), a Nursing/Allied Health Building, and an Academic Complex (both scheduled for completion by the fall 2008).  Displays of architectural renderings will be on display.  

During construction, the college has arranged for alternative parking at off-campus lots and bus shuttles to and from the college.  A map detailing these lots is available on the San Antonio College web site at http://www.accd.edu/sac (see "Parking at SAC").
