WHAT:
* San Antonio College will host a Capital Improvements Projects (CIP) Expo to give the community a report on the status of construction funded by passage of the ACCD bond issue. Light refreshments will be available. The event is free and open to the public.
* These projects include a Parking Garage (scheduled for completion in January), a Nursing/Allied Health Building, and an Academic Complex (both scheduled for completion by the fall 2008).
* Architectural renderings and models will be on display.
WHY:
* The new buildings will allow San Antonio College to expand the capacity for Nursing and Allied Health programs, expand the number of classrooms, increase the number of parking spaces, and enhance the college's technical infrastructure.
WHEN/WHERE:
* Wednesday, August 15, 5:30 - 7 p.m.
* San Antonio College campus, Visual Arts & Technology Center, Room 210
(corner Dewey & Lewis streets). Parking will be available in adjacent lots.

* San Antonio College President Robert E. Zeigler will make a presentation.
