The San Antonio College community will celebrate Hispanic Heritage September 17 to October 17, with a series of talks, films, dance and musical performances. One of the featured speakers is Michele Serros, the author of the young adult novel "Scandalosa!" a sequel to "Honey Blonde Chica." Appearing at San Antonio College on September 19, Serros was named as one of Newsweek's "Women to Watch for the New Century. A former writer for "The George Lopez Show" and author of "Chicana Falsa" and "How to be a Chicana Role Model," Serros lectures throughout the country at high schools and youth groups. She lives in California.
