San Antonio College Announces Selection as First MESA Center in Texas

WHAT                     
San Antonio College will announce its selection as the first site in Texas for a MESA (Math, Engineering, and Science Achievement) Center
 
The Center is made possible with a Hewlett-Packard Diversity in Engineering (DivE) grant, which established MESA community college pilot programs throughout the country.

WHY
These national models are designed to help underrepresented minority students excel in math, science, and engineering, transfer from community college to four-year institutions, and graduate with baccalaureate degrees in those fields.
