Competing with both two- and four-year colleges in the six-state region, San Antonio College staff won three awards in Marketing and Communications at the District IV CASE Conference in Little Rock, Ark.

College Photographer Leonard Zeigler (SAC Media Services) won the Grand/Gold Award (the best in its class) in the Color Photography - Candid category for his photograph titled "Edward James Olmos."

SAC Public Relations team Deborah Martin and John Hammond, with Mike Irizarry (formerly with Instructional Technologies), working with SAC students, faculty and community volunteers Mark Landis and Victor Brown won the Excellence/Silver Award in the Radio Spots (single or series) category for their Spring 2007 Radio Campaign "Create Your Tomorrow at San Antonio College."

Isabelle Burke (SAC Media Services) won the Special/Pewter Award in the Full-Page Spot Color Ad category for her design to promote the Office of Student Life activities.
