Leonard Ziegler, San Antonio College’s Photographer, and two Photography classes in the Visual Arts & Technology Program will have their work on display at two of the numerous locations involved with Fotoseptiembre, the citywide and regional celebration of international photographers.
Ziegler’s photographs will be on display in an exhibit titled “Mi San Antonio, Reflections” at the Louis J. Blume Academic Library Gallery at St. Mary’s University, September 2 – 28. An opening reception will beheld Wednesday, September 3, 4 – 5 p.m.

In addition, San Antonio College Photography 1 and 2 students in the Visual Arts & Technology Program have been selected to exhibit their work at the Instituto Cultural de Mexico at Hemisphere Park as a part of the Fotoseptiembre celebration. The exhibit is titled “Beginning Photographers from San Antonio College Visual Arts & Technology Center” and is curated by Rebecca Dietz, Instructor of Photography at SAC. An opening reception will be held Saturday, September 6, 4 – 8 p.m. and will be on display through October 26.
The Photography 1 and 2 students whose work is on display are: Juan Ginez, Analisa Posada, Daniel Aguilar, Orlando Torres, Jessica Granada , Amanda Gomez, Karin Schroeder, Fernando Andrade, James Jennings, Jessica Saeed, Jacob Antunes, Sharon Milford, Gideon Rogers, Christina Harwell, Joseph Jarzombek, Candice Torres, Vanessa Velazquez , Le’Chele Calvert, James Castillo, Carly Garza, Erik Ybarra, Antonio Pino, Seth Grayson, Sharon Milford, Daniel Aguilar, René Carreón, Crystal Alanis, Jenny Sakian, Amanda Gomez , Amy Cavazos, Ariel Larson, Judy Campa, Vince Reyna, Xavier Gilmore, Yamini Narayanan, Christopher Castillo, Sherman Huoh, Jennifer Gately, Sarah Castillo, and Kelly Wells.
