| An RV powered by veggie oil takes center stage at the Go Green SAC! Environmental Awareness Fair Thursday, April 17 WHAT “Go Green SAC!” Environmental Awareness Fair featuring a Green RV that runs on vegetable oil, promotes sustainable living and features bamboo flooring, sunflower seed countertops, low-VOC paint, solar power and more. Other exhibits will educate about alternative energies, recovered art, recycling, tree care, water conservation, and offer additional tips for eco-friendly living. WHEN Thursday, April 17, 2008 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. WHERE San Antonio College 1300 San Pedro Ave., 78212 Loftin Student Center - Outdoor Courtyard Area (rain location: LSC Fiesta Room) WHO - A “Green RV,” part of the Live Lightly Tour with Matt, Sara and 4-year-old Bella who are traveling the U.S. to teach about sustainable living (www.livelightlytour.com) - CPS Energy – Windtricity - Keep San Antonio Beautiful - Metropolitan Partnership for Energy - Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society – San Antonio College Beta Nu chapter - San Antonio College Student Government Association - San Antonio Parks & Recreation and Alamo Forest Partnership - San Antonio Water Systems - SAC students and employees, and other community volunteers Event sponsored by San Antonio College Office of Student Life and the SAC Go Green!
