The Theatre and Speech Communication Department is proud to announce our first annual SAC speak OUT speech tournament on Tuesday, December 2nd.  This festival will highlight two students who were nominated by their classmates from numerous speech class sections.  They will compete six students to a room.  The top ranking students in the preliminary rounds will compete in a final round in McAllister Auditorium and all finalists will receive a scholarship.  We are excited by this event as it will provide more exposure for our outstanding speech class students.

Perhaps your students need to see an outside speaker or you and your students would like to be informed or persuaded about timely topics that have significance.  The preliminary round begins at 3:30pm-4:30pm in the classrooms of McAllister Fine Arts.  Postings will be hung announcing which students will be in each classroom.  The finalists will speak in McAllister Auditorium at 7:00 – 8:30pm.  The finalists will all receive a scholarship!
