ABOUT THE PLAY:
Aesop himself introduces his own fables, each teaching a valuable lesson. In “The Lion and the Mouse,” not only does Lion discover that Mouse enjoys Shakespeare as much as he does, but also that you can always be helpful, no matter what your size.  “Dog In the Manger” humorously demonstrates that selfishness and false praise do not lead you down the road to success.  In “The Ant and the Grasshoppers,” Aesop emphasizes the importance of thinking ahead.
