Nationally-syndicated writer Gustavo Arellano is known to his fans simply as “The Mexican” thanks to his award-winning column “Ask a Mexican,” which appears in the San Antonio Current. Each week, he tackles some tough questions about stereotypes assigned to Latinos/as, answering those questions with his characteristic wit, charm, y mucho sarcasmo.
His appearance at SAC is part of the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration.
