Six San Antonio College Architecture students took top honors at the annual Sophomore Design Competition held Monday, May 4, in the Chance Academic Center.  Students were asked to design “A Center for Student Living & Health” for the SAC campus, which included dormitories, day care, coffee house, offices, and medical facilities.  The winners were: Santiago Sierra, first place ($500); Juan Rivera, second place ($250); Marisol Reed, third place ($100).      
Honorable mentions ($100 each) went to Lorena Gomez-Farias, Erica Perez, and Kristal Ong.  
 Jurors  for the competition included Dr. Robert Zeigler, Dr. Jessica Howard, and  former SAC students and practicing architects  Christopher Kim and Bill Hensley.
