WHAT:
The Gateway to College Program at San Antonio College will soon be accepting applications for the spring semester.
The Gateway to College program helps students who have dropped out of high school or who are at risk of not graduating. In the program, students earn high school credits while also earning college credits, at no cost to the student. Many students will go on to finish an Associate of Arts Degree and transfer to four-year colleges.

Step 1: Select an Information Session and call 210-486-0170 for a reservation, clearly leave your name and phone number.
Step 2: Download and complete the Gateway to College Application and Essays – Bring your most up to date high school transcript
Step 3: Attend an Information Session, and the Evaluation Days (upon referral), and bring completed application, essays and transcripts.
Beginning in Fall 2007, Gateway to College and San Antonio College partnered with area school districts to make the program possible. Total enrollment is now nearing 600 students. Based on data as of December 2008, 94.5% of participants complete the foundation term curriculum, and 95.8% persist after the first term. The outstanding program results have enabled the program at SAC to be selected as a Gateway to College national demonstration site.
