SAC Student Recipent of Scholarship from Japan America Society of San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX, (Sept. 24) –  San Antonio College  student Jennifer Moyes is the first recipient of a $1,000 scholarship from the Japan America Society of San Antonio (JASSA).

Moyes accepted the scholarship on Sept. 13 and made a speech in Japanese at the JASSA’s general business meeting.

JASSA established the scholarship program for college students in 2008.   The purpose of the scholarship is to promote mutual understanding of the cultures, business environments between people of the United States and Japan.
