San Antonio College Theatre and Speech Communication Department is hosting the Living Library Project, free and open to the public.
WHAT:
A Living Library is a chance for individuals to check out a person as “living book,” for 30 minutes and learn more about others. The Living Library is an innovative method designed to promote dialogue, reduce prejudices and encourage understanding.

Saturday, May 2
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Checkout begins at 9 a.m.)

Some of the “books” will include: Paranormal Researcher, Transgendered, High Priest, Muslim, Pearl Harbor Survivor, Former Prisoner, and Former Homeless Person.
