San Antonio College President's Volunteer Service Awards

Texas Rep. Mike Villarreal, District 123, will be the guest speaker;
Seventeen individual students and the SAC Public Administration Club will be
honored for more than 2,000 hours of volunteerism;
SAC President Dr. Robert Zeigler will make introductions.

The award from the President of the United States is presented to citizens
and residents who serve at least 100 hours to the community in a 12-month
time period.
Recipients receive a lapel pin, a certificate with the name of the volunteer
or group, a congratulatory letter signed by the President Barack Obama and a
letter from the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation.
