2009 WE Conference   May 14 at San Antonio College For Women
    Who Want to Enter College, Return to Work, or Start a Business  

WHAT:
The WE Conference is a free one-day motivational conference for women who are considering a return to school or joining the workforce and would like more information about careers and enhancing leadership skills. Continental breakfast and lunch are included.
The six conference tracks are:
* Career Exploration (identify career interests and pursue satisfying jobs)
* Leadership & Personal Empowerment (networking and climbing the success ladder)  
* Starting college
* Starting your own business
* Preparing for the GED   
* And a track in Spanish about strategies for attending college and balancing career and family.
* In addition, there will be a conversation about Healthy Choices and Empowerment for women in both English and Spanish. A homebuyer fair is also open to the public.
 
Conference participants may apply for scholarships to attend San Antonio College in Fall 2009.  Applications are due by April 23.

Thursday, May 14, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Registration ends May 7. Seating is limited.

San Antonio College counselors and representatives from financial aid, testing, and Programs and Services for Women & Non-Traditional Students.
