changes date for Mayors Cup Golf Tournament

| The San Antonio College Alumni Association has changed the date originally
set for March 8th for the Mayors Cup Golf Classic Tournament. The
new tournament date is Saturday, March 30. Registration begins at 12 p.m. The Shotgun Start is at 1:30 p.m. The event will benefit scholarships and the association. The format is a four-person Florida Scramble. Entry fee is $75 per player. The fee includes green fees, cart, tournament promotion items, and food and beverages. An awards party will be held for the team and individual winners for the longest, straightest drive, and closest to the pin. A prize of $10,000 cash will be awarded for a hole-in-one contest. Other bonus prizes include a three-year supply of golf balls, a golf vacation package for Florida or Nevada, and two tickets to Germany on Lufthansa Airlines. Event sponsorship levels include: Double Eagle, $5,000, twelve players; Eagle/Cart, $3,000, eight players; Birdie/Food, $2,000, four players; Par/Awards, $1,000, four players; Program/Small Business, $700, four players. In addition, a Hole Sponsor for $100 will have registration/hole signage and listing in the event program. To register, call Tournament Chairman Pete R.
