SAC Partners with Borders for Book
Series

| San Antonio College is partnering with Borders Books and Music at
the Quarry to offer a diverse series of book presentations during the month
of July, Tuesdays at 7 p.m. Borders Summer School for Teachers presentations by six SAC faculty are free and open to the general public, and Borders is also specially inviting public school teachers as enrichment opportunities, according to Sara Hines, Borders Corporate and Educational Accounts. The books being discussed will be available at each event. The schedule follows: July 2: Preventing Childhood Obesity, by Ellen Brennan, M.S., R.D., L.D. (biology professor and registered dietician) Fat Kids: Raising Physically and Emotionally Strong Kids with Real Food, by Eileen Behen; Raising Happy Healthy, Weight-wise Kids, by Judy Towes and Nicole Parton; American Academy of Pediatrics Guide to Your Childs Nutrition, edited by William H.
