SACZeigler, Larson & Walch to Speak on 2-Year/4-Year College Ties
at Criminal Justice Conference

* San Antonio College President Robert Zeigler, Dean Betty Larson, and Counselor Terry Walch will speak about the importance of two-year and four-year college relationships at a luncheon meeting of the Southwest Association of Criminal Justice (SWACJ) Conference.
* The SWACJ Conference theme is "Partners in Criminal Justice Education: Community Colleges and Universities."
* The conference is co-sponsored by San Antonio College, University of Houston Downtown, and Wadsworth Publishing.

BACKGROUND:
* The San Antonio College Criminal Justice program offers Associate in Applied Science degrees in two options: Correctional Science and Law Enforcement. 
* "University of Houston Downtown's Criminal Justice program is proud of the fact that we have an interactive relationship with the six community college systems in the area. In fact, 87 percent of our CJ majors are community college transfers," according to Beth Pelz, Chairperson of The University of Houston-Downtown Criminal Justice program and conference program chair.
