Neil Simon's "The Good Doctor"
Comes to SAC
|
| A performance of Neil Simon's play "The Good Doctor" will open
at San Antonio College on Friday, October 11 at 8 p.m. in McCreless Theatre.
Additional shows will be held October 12, 17-19, 24-26 at 8 p.m., and matinee
performances held on October 20 and 27 at 2:30 p.m. General admission is $10, and San Antonio College students, faculty and staff will be admitted free. "The Good Doctor" is a tribute to Anton Chekov, one of Russia's greatest writers. The play is a hilarious series of stories or vignettes of some of Chekov's most popular tales, recounted to the audience by the character of the narrator, The Writer. "These stories resonate with feeling, humor, and breadth," said director Charles Falcon, theater and communications instructor. "It will be the funniest thing people see all year," said Lauren Miller of The Michigan Daily. For more information, call 733-2715. |
