SAC to Host Black History Month Events in February
 

San Antonio College will host two lecture series sponsored by the Department of Sociology in observance of Black History Month. Students, faculty, staff and the general public are invited to attend these free events.

Thursday, February 13, 12 - 1:30 p.m.
(Visual Arts & Technologies Center, room 120, Dewey and Lewis streets)
"America in Black and White"
Presentations by Anthony Lyle, anthropologist, and Kevin Williams, sociologist.

Monday, February 24, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
(McAllister Auditorium, San Pedro and Courtland streets)
"Slavery Still Exists"
-10 a.m. Tommy Calvert, abolitionist, American Anti-slavery Group
-11 a.m. Francis Bok, ex-slave from southern Sudan.
