San Antonio College is accepting applications for National Science Foundation Math, Engineering & Technology Awards (META) scholarships of up to $2,000 per academic year.

Eligible students must major in one of the specified fields (which include computer science, math, and engineering); enroll for at least 12 college credit hours; work toward a certificate, associate degree or transfer to a four-year institution in a required major; have a 2.5 cumulative grade point average in college-level work or a B average if first-time-in-college from high school; provide two letters of recommendation from a counselor or faculty member; pass the TASP or TASP alternative; demonstrate financial need and not be employed more than 20 hours per week; and commit to counseling, enrichment, and mentoring activities.
