Susan Budge, Associate Professor of Visual Arts & Technology at San Antonio College, was selected Artist of the Year by the Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts (TALA). Budge was honored at the TALA GALA at the University of Houston on June 5, the same day her work went on exhibit at the New Gallery in Houston.

San Antonians will be able to see Budge's work at Cilo restaurant on Austin Highway July 22.

In December 2002, Budge was one of 400 American artists selected to create an ornament for the White House Christmas tree. She also participated in the San Antonio Cow parade, organized to raise funds to fight cancer, by painting one of the cows on public display. For more information, contact Susan Budge at 733-2900.
