In an effort to register new voters for the 2004 elections, San Antonio College students plan to hold a "Rock The Vote!" voter registration drive March 1-5, from approximately 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., outside the Loftin Student Center or inside in case of inclement weather.

The Student Government Association will organize materials and supplies. Students who volunteer to register voters will be deputized by the Bexar County Voter Registrar to comply with legal guidelines. Other volunteers will distribute candidate materials.

Students, faculty, and staff who register to vote or present their voter registration card can enter a raffle, which will be managed by the Student Government Association.

In a "Rock The Vote!" drive in October 2003, the Student Government Association registered 500 students to vote. For more information, contact Brandon Hansen at 210-685-7015.
