Dr. Thomas Clarkin, History Instructor at San Antonio College, has been accepted into the National Endowment for a Humanities' (NEH) "Landmarks of American History Workshops" program.
The workshop will be held July 11-15 and July 18-22 on the topic "Steel-Making in Cleveland: A Case Study of Industrialization, Immigration, Labor, Race, Ethnicity, and Gender." Locations will include the Western Reserve Historical Society, the ISG Steel Mill, the Ohio and Erie Canal, historic neighborhoods on the Cuyahoga River, and Youngstown, Ohio.
