San Antonio College's Basic Skills Enrichment Program will offer a weekend workshop on Study Skills for Overcoming Math Fear and Failure, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Saturday, August 6, with a break for lunch. The non-credit workshop is intended for people who wish to return to college but are afraid to because of their fear of math, according to Coordinator Betty Lee Birdsall.
Workshop topics will include Learning Styles, Math Study Skills, Test-Taking Strategies, Word Problems, and Math Anxiety.
