San Antonio College students and the general public will have an opportunity to hear two San Antonio mayoral candidates and one candidate's representative discuss issues in The Gladhand Series at McAllister Auditorium on three occasions in April. The series is free and open to the public.
Phil Hardberger will speak on Wednesday, April 6 at 3:30 p.m., Julian Castro will speak on Thursday, April 7 at 11 a.m., and a representative for Carroll Schubert will speak on Wednesday, April 13 at 4 p.m. Each candidate or representative will introduce himself, answer 10 questions selected and posed by student members of the Cheshyre Cheese Club, and then answer questions from the audience. Each event is scheduled for one hour.
The student literary organization Cheshyre Cheese Club and the English and Political Science departments are sponsors of The Gladhand Series.
