San Antonio College (SAC) and St. Philip's College (SPC) are registering students by phone and web, now through August 19, for Fall 2005 classes at the Northeast Campus (NEC), at 7990 Pat Booker Rd.
Students may also register in person on-site at NEC on August 12-13 (payment deadline 5 p.m. August 15) and at SAC and SPC on August 17-20 (payment deadline 12 noon August 20).
To register for classes, students should: 1) bring official high school or college transcripts, 2) take the THEA or Acuplacer Placement Test, 3) visit with an advisor, 4) register, and 5) pay tuition and fees.
Classes are available in the following subjects: accounting, administrative computer technology, art, astronomy, biology, business administration, business computer applications, chemistry, child development, communication, computer science, criminal justice, economics, education, English, geography, geology, German, government, history, humanities, mathematics, music, philosophy, psychology, reading, sociology, Spanish, speech, student development, and strategies for success.
The fall class schedule is available at http://www.accd.edu/nec/necmain/html/schedule.htm. These classes can lead toward certification, associates degrees, or transfer to four-year institutions. Counseling, testing, special needs testing, and tutoring services are available at Northeast Campus.
