SAC and Comal ISD to Sign Partnership Agreement
to Offer College Classes for the Community
WHAT:  
* Officials from San Antonio College and Comal Independent School District will sign a Memorandum of Understanding which will make it possible for the college to offer classes at Smithson Valley High School, starting in the fall 2005 semester.

* Classes will be offered in English, government, math, history, psychology, and Spanish.

* Under this agreement, San Antonio College will offer credit and non-credit courses at Smithson Valley High School leading to transfer to institutions of higher education.  Classes will be offered each term by mutual agreement to serve participants in various degree programs. 

WHEN/WHERE:    
* Wednesday, July 13, 4 - 4:30 p.m.
       
* Smithson Valley High School, 14001 Hwy. 46 West, Spring
Branch, Texas (in the commons area near the front office)

* Notes:  After brief remarks, the signing ceremony will take place, followed by refreshments provided by HEB.  Students will also be registering 4-8 p.m. that evening in the commons area near the front office.
