WHO:
A resolute defender of the environment, Robert F. "Bobby" Kennedy, Jr., was named one of Time Magazine's "Heroes of the Planet." A graduate of Harvard University and the University of Virginia Law School, he is currently the Senior Attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). Kennedy is also a clinical professor and supervising attorney at the Environmental Litigation Clinic at Pace University School of Law, where he earned a master's degree in Environmental Law. He also studied at the London School of Economics.
Additionally, he is a licensed master falconer, and president of the Waterkeeper Alliance, a coalition of more than 100 environmental groups working to protect waterways in North America.
Among his published books are the New York Times' bestseller Crimes Against Nature (2004). His award-winning articles have been included in anthologies of America's Best Political Writing, Best Crime Writing and Best Science Writing. |
